3 July 2008 - The name for the new CD has been chosen from suggestions submitted by fans visiting Wing's official MySpace page. After the new CD "Too Much Heaven" is released on 21 July 2008, Wing will be very happy to respond to performance opportunities in New York and elsewhere.
21 June 2008 - Wing apologises to New York fans for having to turn down the invitation to perform at the Make Music NewYork Indie After Party @ The Brooklyn Lyceum, because of commitments to recording her soon-to-be-released new CD.
9 June 2008: Wing appeared on NZ tv channel C4 in their 8.30pm show "Rocked the Nation" singing Pokarekareana.
11 May 2008 - Wing performs in BBC Radio 1's annual Big Weekend music festival at Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent (see photo to left). Wing thanks all her fans who came to her show. She had a capacity audience and was delighted to meet many people, including BBC Radio 1 host Scott Mills who arranged for her to perform. Photographs from the performance are available on Wing's official Facebook page.

31 March 2008 - Wing stars in a grabaseat TVC promotion for Air NZ's new service to Beijing, China, singing "The Wind Beneath My Wings" -- all the seats were very quickly sold.
20 March 2008 - Wing thanks all her fans who came to her two shows at SXSWfestival in Austin, Texas.

Who is Wing?
Wing the singer is admired by fans throughout the world for the passion and joy she shares through her CDs and performances of popular songs. With a unique voice and an ever-widening repertoire, Wing loves singing and she lives to sing. Her goal is to sing beautiful songs as they should be sung, and she spends 3-4 hours every day working towards this goal. Her singing teacher helps Wing work on her current repertoire, and helps to choose the songs for the next CD.
CD releases
A New Zealand resident, Wing has released 15 CDs to date, and they have sold very well throughout the world, giving her a cult following. She is a regular guest on radio shows and television celebrity guest and entertainment shows, and has appeared on programmes as diverse as TAB Sports Cafe (New Zealand), Rove Live (Australia) and the animated television satire show South Park. Her live peformances have ranged equally widely in their staging, from old folks homes and hospitals to university gyms, private parties and corporate gigs. Wing's CDs are proudly manufactured by Media Technology.
International performances
I
n August 2007, Wing made her North American debut in the Wing Over America showcase in San Francisco, and she played two shows at SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas during March 2008. Further performances in the USA are being planned. She performed in the UK in May 2008 in BBC Radio 1's annual Big Weekend music festival at Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent. Further UK performances are being planned.
